Exciting new jobs in Humber and North Yorkshire

EST teamTo kick start the New Year job market, more than 650 job vacancies in the Humber and North Yorkshire region have been sourced in the last three months by leading employment specialists Working Links. 

 

Working Links works to help unemployed people return to work and delivers ninety contracts across the UK, with eight contracts in the Yorkshire and Humber region. Most of these require Working Links to source job vacancies with local employers and match them with job-ready candidates.

 

The Working Links employer solutions team operating in Humber and North Yorkshire is tasked with contacting employers and sourcing job opportunities. Jason O’Neill, Humber and North Yorkshire’s Employer Solutions Manager, says: “As a new team of twelve starting in October 2009, we have worked extremely hard to contact a variety of employers across the region, many of whom are new to Working Links. I am delighted we have secured such a high number of vacancies to match with candidates.”

 

The team have sourced more than 280 jobs in Hull, 145 in Grimsby, 135 in York and 95 in Scunthorpe.

 

A large proportion of these roles are in the care sector with around 220 vacancies including personal carers, night and day carers, programme workers, medicinal carers, support workers and activity co-ordinators. There are full and part-time opportunities from more than 18 companies across Hull, Scunthorpe, Grimsby and York.

 

Other sectors with vacancies on the Working Links books include retail, hospitality, customer service, security and driving including trainee bus drivers.

 

Working Links works hard to ensure the right candidates are matched with the right vacancy and employers don’t need to worry about recruitment fees as the service is free.
