A rewarding career

That makes

a genuine difference

Do you want to go home from work every day feeling you made a real difference?

Then join our team…

If you are looking for a rewarding career that makes a genuine social difference – we’d like to hear from you.

We are currently looking for people to join us as Specialist Health Advisers across various locations in Wales. You’d be joining us at an extremely exciting time as we develop and implement a new holistic health services offer for the Department for Work and Pensions' new Work and Health Programme (WHP). As a Specialist Health Adviser you would be responsible for providing advice and work focused health interventions, supporting people with their health specific barriers and helping them progress towards sustainable employment. You’ll achieve this through a blend of one-to-ones, group work, coaching and digital and virtual solutions.

You need to be a qualified health professional and be able to demonstrate your previous experience of supporting people with health-related issues back to work. It’s important you’re a people person who can easily build relationships too, with knowledge and experience of local specialist networks and provision.

Your role will be extremely rewarding as you’ll have a real impact on someone’s life, working with them during their entire journey with us – not just on health management issues. And although your work will be varied and diverse, everything we do is underpinned by a common social purpose, a strong set of values and a shared commitment to putting the people which need our support at the heart of our services.

The role will have standardised working hours – Monday to Friday – and we are also committed to supporting and encouraging your CPD.

We are also looking for:

  • Work and Health Advisers to provide appropriate support, challenge and guidance to our customers – creating personalised and tailored action plans and advising them on specialist support and interventions to enable them to secure sustainable employment.
  • Employer Services Consultants responsible for securing suitable and sustainable job outcomes for our customers and promoting our employer services offer to current and new employers.
  • Tutors to help customers to meet their learning and development needs and progress towards work.

And speaking Welsh is highly desirable for these roles, as well as for the Specialist Health Adviser role.

We achieve some pretty inspirational things with our customers every single day. That means we need great people too.

If you want to know more about the Work and Health Programme (WHP) and the people we aim to help please read our dedicated WHP pages.
