Managing Director Brian Bell has taken the decision to leave the organisation later this year.

Brian has decided the time is right to take on a new challenge and move on to something new, having devoted 18 years of his career to Working Links after being part of the team to launch the organisation in 2000.

Having worked in the employability arena throughout most of his career, Brian has been instrumental in our – and the wider industry’s – success over the years, helping millions of people on their journeys towards better lives.

Brian said: “I’ve worked with some remarkable people who have made sure that we built the business in the right way, with strong values, and with a constant focus on what matters, doing the best we can for our customers. This has helped Working Links to stand out as a market leader in what has become an increasingly tight and challenging market place.

“There’s always been a debate about how we measure our achievements and how many people we have provided services for or helped into work. I know it’s a big number in the hundreds of thousands and I know our numbers look impressive when we compare ourselves with other organisations in our sector, but for me it’s the stories behind those numbers that count just as much. And I am always inspired by some of the things our customers achieve against incredible odds; with the support of our people, and people from our partner organisations.”

Brian will leave the organisation in October 2018, with Working Links being led by the existing strong Executive Team of Steve Jones, Raj Patel and Clare Davey.
