Basic Skills - Literacy
This creative programme is designed to enable learners to use
literacy effectively in everyday life. It is structured to allow
learners to start at a stage appropriate to their existing
knowledge and understanding in each skills area. This programme is
underpinned by a City & Guilds qualification and mapped to the
new National Standards and Core Curricula for Literacy. Each
learner will undertake diagnostic testing to determine the access
point for the qualification and progression.
Target Group:
Unemployed, NEET group, In Employment but
needing to improve literacy skills. ESOL
In order to engage learners this programme
offers a selection of innovative and creative activities to
compliment any learning and aims to achieve success through means
of learning by stealth.
Adult Literacy:
Entry level 1, 2 & 3 & Level 1 & 2
accredited by City & Guilds.
