Colin was appointed Regional Director for the North in August 2007.  He came to Working Links in 2002 to deliver the Private Sector Led New Deal contract in North Tyneside. Prior to that, he worked with a small North East based training provider for a few years initially as a management trainer, progressing into a management role overseeing the North Tyneside New Deal contract which the company then held. Before that, Colin worked for some 23 years with what is now Jobcentre Plus, starting off as a front line Adviser and ending up as the North East Regional Training and Development Manager.

 

In June 2009 Colin took on the role to lead on the implementation of our flexible New Deal contract in Tees Valley and North Yorkshire.

 

Colin is married with two grown up sons and most of his spare time (not that he has a lot!) is taken up with his wife either socialising or maintaining his house and garden.
