Position: Regional Director of
Scotland
Helena joined Working Links in June 2004 as
Deputy Director for Scotland with responsibility for managing
Department for Work and Pensions (
DWP
) contracts.
Helena was appointed Regional Director for Scotland in 2005.
Helena has a highly developed and extensive
knowledge of the welfare issues affecting Scotland today. And via
her leadership, the Scottish operation has extended its geographic
cover from Dumfries and Galloway in the borders to Inverness and
Aberdeen in the Highlands. The operation, across contracts,
continually impresses with performance outputs and service
excellence.
In June 2009 Helena took on the temporary role
of National Operations Director. During her time in this role
she ensured continuity of performance on all existing contracts
whilst the successful implementation of flexible New Deal contracts
was embedded into the business. Recognised for her
contribution nationally, Helena remains in post to continue to
improve our national contracts – this she does in tandem with her
responsibilities for Scotland.
Prior to joining Working Links, Helena spent
18 years within the recruitment sector, working with two of the
UK’s leading employment agencies - Manpower for over 13 years,
latterly as their Regional Scottish Contract Manager and then with
Adecco as Regional Manager for Scotland.
