Helena Craw

National Operations Director

Helena joined Working Links in June 2004 as Deputy Director for Scotland, and has responsibility for managing Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) contracts, including a two year pilot in Parkhead, Glasgow – “Working Neighbourhoods”.  This pilot proved to be an overwhelming success through which we engaged with over 1300 local people. We placed 511 of those into work over the two year period.

Helena has a highly developed and extensive knowledge of the welfare issues affecting Scotland today. Via her leadership, the Scottish operation has extended its geographic cover from Dumfries and Galloway in the borders to Inverness and Aberdeen in the Highlands. The operation, across contracts, continually impresses with performance outputs and service excellence. Helena’s status as a leader of a key provider to DWP was further endorsed by the DWP Star Rating Model in 2008, when our team in Glasgow  secured the number one position.
