Bude
Lifeboat festival had a very special new guest courtesy of
entrepreneur Graham Eccles.
Graham floated a giant balloon duck down the canals in an attempt
to raise money for the Bude RNLI and raise awareness of his new
business being launched later on this year, Ha’penny
Entertainments.
Graham is being helped by local employment provider Working Links
to launch his business, Ha’penny Entertainments, after a long
period of unemployment. Ha’Penny Entertainments will cater for all
events, from balloon designs for children’s parties to unique
inflatable décor for the more “grown up” events.
Graham came to Working Links with an already prestigious title; the
only Penny Farthing riding, balloon modelling performance poet in
the whole of the UK.
Darren Henwood, Working Links Regional Marketing Manager for South
West commented: “Working Links work with all individuals; from
those who just want to get back into work to Unicycling poets
wanting to start a business. If we can help people start their
business or get back into work then we will. Graham has a great
vision for his company and we will do all we can to make this
vision a reality.”
Working Links are now advising Graham on how best to set-up his
company and develop a sustainable business.
