learning and therefore our employment training
services are a vital part of what we offer.
Pre-employment training
The pre-employment
training is designed so that you receive the specific
skills required by employers, giving you a clear goal to work
towards and a job opportunity at the end of your training. All of
our clients receive tailored pre-employment
training on a one-to-one basis to develop essential skills
so you can take advantage of job opportunities in
London and the South East. We also partner with
educational institutions in the region such as Hackney Technical
College for more specific training.
Clients can receive training in the
following areas:
- Literacy, numeracy and language
skills
- Assertiveness, confidence and
motivational coaching
- Language skills for clients whose first
language is not English
- CV preparation
- Job interview help
- In-work placements with employers
- Help working towards qualifications such
as NVQs
- Enterprise training for the self
employed
Post-employment support
Finding employment is a very important step
in the Working Links process but it is not the final part of the
journey. At Working Links, we aim to have a long term relationship
with our clients so once you have found job opportunities
in London or the South East we will ensure you have the
support you require to continue to develop your skills. Through
one-to-one employment coaching and further
training we can work together so you can continue to build on your
skills and advance in your career.
Enterprise training
The Working Links Self-employment Team are
experienced business advisors who provide clients with information
on all aspects of starting and developing a small business. The
Self-employment Team can assist you with creating business plans,
obtaining funding, legal advice and much more through workshops and
one-to-one support.
