services are a vital part of what we offer.
Pre-employment training
The pre-employment
training is designed so that you receive the specific
skills required by employers, giving you a clear goal to work
towards and a job opportunity at the end of your training. All of
our clients receive tailored return to work
training on a one-to-one basis by our tutors to develop
essential skills. Clients can receive training in the following
areas:
- Literacy, numeracy and language
skills
- Assertiveness, confidence and motivational
coaching
- CV preparation
- Job interview help
- Onsite work experience with employers
- Help working towards qualifications such
as NVQs
Post-employment support
Finding employment is a very important step
in the Working Links process but it is not the final part of the
journey. At Working Links, we aim to have a long term relationship
with our clients so once you are in employment we will ensure you
have the support you need to continue to develop your skills.
Through one-to-one employment coaching and further training we can
work together so you can continue to build on your skills and
advance in your career.
Self-employment services
We have a dedicated team of self-employment
experts who are available to support individuals who wish to work
for themselves. We work with specialist business advisors
throughout the South West who can provide clients with information
and training, through workshops and one-to-one support, on all
aspects of starting and developing a small business.
