We are a leading UK provider of Welfare
to Work services, we believe in working in partnership with the
best quality-driven organisations to deliver our services
responsive to the needs of customers, employers and stakeholders.
We are now in the process of preparing to tender for the
Personalised Employment Programme (PEP).
The PEP pilots commencing in March 2011 are part of the new
Welfare to Work initiatives announced in the December 2008 White
Paper ‘Raising expectations and increasing support – reforming
welfare for the future’. It will offer support for unemployed
customers receiving Jobseekers Allowance and customers with health
conditions receiving Employment and Support Allowance, to secure
and sustain employment, within a single, integrated, flexible
employment programme.
Working Links will deliver ‘PEP’ as a Prime Contractor, and are
looking to engage with providers as potential subcontractors to
work in partnership to deliver front-line services to PEP
customers. We will partner with organisations with a proven
track record of:
- Sourcing work placements, job trials and voluntary work;
- Delivering high quality support, including assessment, action
planning, case management and post-employment
support;
- Learning and skills development;
- Prepare customers for employment;
- Specialist self-employment support;
- Specialist support for personal and behavioral issues such as
confidence, motivation, anger management, wellbeing and mental
health;
- Advice and support on issues such as housing, debt and
addiction;
- Employer routeways in a variety of vocational sectors; and
- Delivering provision that helps customers sustain
employment.
