Stu Turner
Head of Skills
Stu Turner joined Working Links in February 2007 and brought
with him a wealth of experience in project management and expertise
in the skills sector.
As a former accreditation manager with the RAF, Stu had worked
at a strategic level for more than 10 years. He had been on the UK
Standards and Learning and Qualifications boards feeding directly
to Government departments and regulatory authorities. He was also
on a curriculum development committee within the Office of the
Deputy Prime Minister and Strategic MOD Leadership and Management
development for Fire Services.

With two military commendations and a Fellowship of the
Institute of Leadership and Management, he was later selected to
become a member of the RAF PR team and presented the RAF to
dignitaries, ministers and Royalty. Previous roles had seen him as
head of the UK Management Standards Centre, which is the lead
setting body for management and leadership standards and
qualifications in the UK.
Stu is responsible for the future development of Skills,
developing new innovative skills initiatives placing Working Links
at the forefront of the UK’s skills agenda tackling social
deprivation and providing social cohesion.
