In the Times Top 100
We have found out that just seven years after
our launch, we have been named as one of the best companies to work
for in The Sunday Times Top 100 businesses.
We were singled out as one of the best companies to work for in
the UK at a prestigious awards ceremony held in Central London. The
list is publicised annually and recognises best practice in UK
workplaces and we were one of the elite organisations singled out
for our commitment to our people.
As the first ever public-private-voluntary organisation we are
the pioneers of a new way of delivering public services and are
thrilled to be named 92nd in the national list. We operate on the
belief that combining public sector values with private sector
disciplines and voluntary sector experience is vital to achieve our
aims.
Our commitment to our people and their satisfaction is paramount
to ensuring our success as a leading national provider of
innovative welfare-to-work initiatives. For example, as part of
this commitment we have invested £3million into IT and telecoms so
that the best and latest technology can increase job satisfaction
and working flexibility for our people

Other big areas of investment have been learning and development,
and the design of new premises and refurbishments to help create a
more relaxed and effective work environment.
“Our people deliver services to many of Britain’s most
disadvantaged communities. It can be emotionally demanding work
that cannot always be tackled on a ‘9 to 5’ basis, and we support
our own people with that same commitment as they show to others, so
to recognise workplace engagement in this way is really important,”
says Keith Faulkner, who as Managing Director was instrumental in
the launch of Working Links.
